Welcome to  Emirati Fashion Week, where creativity meets culture on the runway. We invite talented designers and aspiring models to join us in showcasing the latest trends and innovations in the world of fashion. To ensure a seamless application process and to maintain the highest standards of excellence, please review the following terms and criteria carefully.

APPLICATION CRITERIA FOR DESIGNERS

EMIRATI FASHION WEEK® welcomes independent designers, design houses, luxury brands, startups, jewelry & accessories designers, kidswear designers, swimwear designers, and intimate wear designers to showcase their creativity and innovation on our esteemed platform. Please review the following criteria and terms for participation:

For Designers:

  1. Brand Ownership: The clothing brand or design house must own a brand website.

  2. Social Media Presence: The clothing brand or designer should maintain a business page on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter.

  3. Business Operation: The established clothing brand or designer should have been in operation for a minimum of 1 year.

  4. Original Designs: Designs presented during EMIRATI FASHION WEEK® must be original and available for order on the designer/company website from the show date.

  5. Quality and Pricing: The applicant's wholesale price points should align with contemporary or luxury market standards.

Application Requirements:

  • Portfolio showcasing recent collections (photos or videos).

  • Description of design philosophy and inspiration.

  • Business website URL.

  • Links to social media business pages.

  • Proof of business operation time span (e.g., business registration certificate).

  • Press releases, design development details, and mood boards for the new collection (if applicable).

Additional Information:

  • 15-30 outfits are allowed to showcase during the Spring-Summer'24 season.

  • Physical runway presentation will take place in Emirati, with selected collections premiering worldwide on COSMOS® (EMIRATI FASHION WEEK® SHOWROOM).

  • Makeup and hairstyling services are included in the showcasing charges for physical presentations.

For Models:

  • Models will be provided if the designer/design house presents physically at EMIRATI FASHION WEEK®.

  • For virtual presentations, designers are responsible for arranging models and any associated costs.

Fees and Payments:

  • Application fee must be paid via PayPal within 7 days of signing the agreement/confirmation letter.

  • Non-refundable registration fee; penalties apply for delays in payment.

  • Option to transfer show to the next season if unable to present after payment.

Logistical Details:

  • Designers must arrange models' transportation for fittings/trials (for digital showcase).

  • No provision for stay or travel expenses during the runway show.

Special Requests:

Any special service or arrangement required must be communicated to EMIRATI FASHION WEEK® by January 10, 2025.

This adaptation ensures clarity on eligibility, requirements, and operational details specific to EMIRATI FASHION WEEK®, tailored to the standards and expectations of the event. Adjustments can be made based on specific event guidelines or updates.

EMIRATI FASHION WEEK® invites talented models to participate in our prestigious event, showcasing the latest trends and designs from around the world. Please carefully review the following terms and criteria for model applications:

Eligibility:

  • Diversity and Inclusivity: EMIRATI FASHION WEEK® celebrates diversity and welcomes models of all genders, ethnicities, sizes, and backgrounds.

  • Professionalism: Models must demonstrate professionalism, confidence, and versatility on the runway and in front of the camera.

  • Experience: While previous runway experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. EMIRATI FASHION WEEK® welcomes both seasoned professionals and emerging talents.

  • Physical Requirements: Models should meet industry standards for height, measurements, and overall appearance suitable for fashion presentations.

Application Requirements:

FEMALE MODEL:

  • Height: 5 feet 7 inches and taller in bare feet

  • Age 16-25

  • Must be healthy (in good physical shape)

  • Should be comfortable with swimwear & lingerie

  • Clear unblemished skin 

  • White teeth without any gap in front

  • No tan lines

  • No obvious scars

  • No excessive piercings or tattoos

  • Should be confident walking in the heels

  • You will be asked to share a walking video

  • We will ask to see your legs, arms and upper back (to see if you can model open back gowns)

MALE MODEL:

  • Height: 5 feet 11 inches and taller in bare feet

  • Age 18-27

  • Must be healthy (in good physical shape)

  • Clear unblemished skin 

  • White teeth without any gap in front

  • No tan lines

  • No scars

  • No excessive piercings or tattoos

  • Shaved chest & upper back

  • You will be asked to share a walking video

Photographs:

  • Recent headshot (close-up).

  • Full-body photograph (front and profile views).

Measurements:

  • Height (in centimeters).

  • Bust, waist, and hip measurements (in centimeters).

Experience:

  • Resume or portfolio detailing previous modeling experience (if any).

  • Runway or photoshoot images/videos showcasing versatility (optional but recommended).

Additional Information:

  • Models must be available for fittings, rehearsals, and show days as scheduled by EMIRATI FASHION WEEK®.

  • For physical runway presentations, EMIRATI FASHION WEEK® will provide models selected by the organizing committee.

  • For virtual presentations, designers are responsible for selecting and arranging their own models.

Application Process:

  • All applications must be submitted through the official EMIRATI FASHION WEEK® website or designated platform.

  • Models may be required to attend casting calls or submit additional information upon request.

Important Notes:

  • EMIRATI FASHION WEEK® reserves the right to approve or reject model applications based on the event's requirements and standards.

  • Models under the age of 18 must have parental consent and supervision during the event.
